Frequently asked questions.

Why do you only offer weekly hot tub maintenance?

Hot tubs require consistent care to keep water balanced, clean, and safe. A weekly schedule ensures:

1. Water Balance Stays Consistent - Hot tubs require regular adjustments to pH, alkalinity, and sanitizer levels to prevent bacteria growth and maintain clear, safe water. Skipping weeks can lead to imbalances that cause irritation, scaling, or equipment damage.

2. Prevents Buildup & Contamination - A weekly schedule ensures prompt removal of debris, biofilm, and contaminants, reducing the risk of cloudy water, unpleasant odors, or unsanitary conditions.

3. Protects Equipment & Extends Lifespan - Filters, pumps, and jets work best with consistent care. If maintenance is too infrequent, scale buildup, clogged filters, or chemical imbalances can lead to costly repairs.

4. Avoids the “Catch-Up” Effect - Biweekly or monthly service often leads to water imbalances, extra cleaning needs, and costly chemical corrections, which is why WKNDhaus only offers weekly maintenance for the best results.

5. Ensures a Hassle-Free Experience -With weekly care, your hot tub is always ready to use no need to test, balance, or troubleshoot between visits. You get peace of mind knowing it’s in perfect condition every weekend.

Do you offer hot tub maintenance for short-term rentals?

Yes! A well-maintained hot tub can be a huge selling point for short-term rentals, but only if it's clean, safe, and guest-ready. Our weekly service keeps your spa in top condition, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

I have multiple guest turnovers per week. Do I need additional maintenance visits?

If you have frequent turnovers, I highly recommend scheduling a maintenance visit after every guest to ensure clean, properly balanced water and avoid potential issues. This extra step helps maintain a 5-star experience and protects your equipment from overuse and neglect.

How often do I need a deep clean or drain & fill?

A tdrain & fill is recommended once a quarter to keep your hot tub water fresh and properly balanced. For a more thorough reset, I recommend a deep clean, including a plumbing line flush, once a year to remove buildup and ensure optimal performance.
